Take to the skies with the Sky Warrior and watch this rocket climb over 800 feet when launched on a C6-5 engine. Three finned and unique styling, keep an eye on the Sky Warrior as the 12 inch parachute brings this awesome rocket back to earth.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, hobby knife, masking tape, primer (white) and clear coat (optional). (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)

WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad with a 1/8 inch launch rod and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding. Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).

Build History

  • 11/7/2019 – Took pictures of package
  • 1/26/2020 – Took pictures of plans, card stock and components. Build MM assembly by gluing engine block into forward end of MM tube, gluing CRs 1/2″ & 2-3/8″ from aft end, and gluing engine retainer ring 1″ from aft end. Sanded and removed from balsa sheet all balsa components.
